Blossom with Tulip

A jeweled crown on Indian map Kashmir's capital city hosts Tulip festival in the Asia's largest tulip garden called Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Siraj Bagh Cheshmashahi Srinagar, in the foothills of Zabarwan range with an overview of Dal Lake presents a soothing view to the eyes. Kashmir is at its more picturesque at this time. It comes alive in spring when nature bedecks the valley with blossom after blossom: almond, cherry, apple, peach, pears, pansies, narcissi, daises and many more. Cultural programs, Kashmiri folk songs, sale of local handicrafts, and preparation of traditional Kashmiri cuisine adds more value to the festival. Kashmir raps itself in an emerald green jacket with flowery designs all over. Daisies cover the parks and gardens. The Climate of Jammu and Kashmir at this time of the year is ideally suited to thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the place.
