KASHMIR ANGELERS PARADISE (FISHING TRIP TO KASHMIR)
Day 01 Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi.
We assist you with garland welcome and checkin to hotel. Overnight in hotel for peace and rest.
Day 02 Delhi-Srinagar
Morning you will be transfer to airport for the flight to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar our representative will meet you at the air port and take you to the houseboats for the overnight stay. Take it easy for the day and enjoy a shikara ride on the lake. Food will be provided in the houseboat itself.
Day 03 Srinagar-Pahalgham -Aru
Morning drive start for your next destination: Pahalgham. Enjoy the driver through Avanti pura- Ruins of temples and along the way enjoy the Saffron fields, On arrival in pahalgham enjoy the beauty of the Mountains and later drive to Aru. A small mountain town famous for Trout Fishing. There will be pitching tents along the river side Lidder and relax and visit a local shepherd village. Enjoy the evening by the Riverside and have a camp fire. Try to sleep early in the night as the best time to have a good catch will be early morning. Overnight camping.
Day 04 Aru
Early in the morning at 4 A.M. you need to wake up and start walk for the fishing. In the morning the climate will cool and clear. Aru is basically vast grassland that is surrounded by a narrow valley. Here you will enjoy the trout fishing, it is called angling paradise, the fishes caught by you will be cook and you can taste the fresh fish food with lemon, You will really enjoy the whole day with fishing, overnight stay at camp.
Day 05 Aru-Srinagar
This morning you will be driving from Aru to Srinagar. On arrival the day is at free of leisure. On the arrival at Srinagar you take rest and relax, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 Srinagar- Delhi
Wakeup early in the morning & mesmerize the eyes with the beauty of Srinagar. With the refreshment and breakfast you will enjoy the boat ride through old part of city (kralyar,veince of Kashmir), vegetable market, watch sunrise during the ride. After visiting and return to stay our representative will meet you and transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 Delhi-Out
In Morning free at leisure & afternoon transfer to airport for the flight back home.
Best time for fishing in Kashmir
The best for fishing start from the end of ending of the winter start the season of fishing in Kashmir. The best time for fishing in Kashmir is start from April to October. Phalgam is known as the best place for fishing. Specially the Lidder valley.
Pahalgam is one of Kashmir's popular trout fishing area.
Additionally, for the fishing in the stream of pahalgam. You will get a licence from the aministration. Fishing licences are very hard to get and rather expensive. This one will permit you to catch six fishes in one day, which is the daily limit.
Required equipments
A light two to three metre Rod will required (fishing rods cannot be carried as hand luggage on aircraft for security reasons) with an 8 c.m reel. These are the things will required to catch the fishes. There are 61 beats open for reservation throughout the season, ranging from the turbulence of the Sindh and Wangat Rivers to the tranquility of the high altitude lakes Krishanshar, Vishanshar, Gangabal and Nunkhol.
